New York Times

New York Times is accessible from off-campus by KSC Students, Faculty, and Staff

The first time you access New York Times or any one of our other KSC subscribed resources you'll need to log into our remote-access system, called a proxy.

Mason Library's subscription to NYT allows all KSC Students, Faculty, and Staff to create their own account and log into the New York Times as though each person has their own personal subscription. 

Account Set-Up and Access: 

  • Follow a KSC provided link to New York Times registration page - this could be from:
  • Log into our remote-access system: If this is your first time logging into any Mason Library resources remotely in a while, then you'll be presented with a login screen for our remote-access system
    • Enter your last name
    • Enter your 7-digit barcode from your KSC Owl Card ID#
  • First time users - create an account with NYT via this link:  NYT account registration
  • If your account is already set up:Then simply login to your own account as though you had your own subscription to the New York Times - either via the KSC provided link (below) or at the NYT Website
