Magazine and Newspaper Site Licenses

This guide will explain how to set up accounts for campus wide site licenses provided to Keene State College students, faculty and staff.

Site License Overview

Our New York Times Site License includes:

  • Historical archive access to content dating back to 1851
  • International, national, and regional up to the minute news
  • Multilingual editions in English, Spanish, and Chinese
  • Video, Podcasts, Photos, Interactives, and Multimedia 
  • Customization options to save, share, and comment on articles
  • 24/7 mobile access on smartphone, computer, or tablet from anywhere
  • Exclusive access to The New York Times in Education nytimesineducation.com -A collection of instructional strategies in 16 disciplines created by faculty across the country from Times content and mapped to learning outcomes. 

Getting Started with the Site License

 

The New York Times Site License allows Keene State College students, faculty, and staff to access the NY Times directly after creating an account.  

  1. Click on the NYTimes.com Pass link displayed here:  NYTimes.com Pass
  2. Create an account using your Keene State College email address.  
  3. When you see the 'Start Your Access' screen, you have successfully registered.

How long does the pass last?

  • The pass is good for one year or longer, and can be renewed upon reaching expiration.
