Lost or Damaged Mason Library Item

Patrons are responsible for replacement charges for lost or damaged items.

The Library charges the following rates for replacement, a figure which includes both processing and overdue fees:

Audio CDs: $37.00
Audiobooks: $120.00
Books: $65.00
DVDs: $45.00
Laptop Computers: $2,000.00
Green Bike: $60.00
Lock: $15.00.
Key: $5.00

Charges are subject to change based on current material prices.

Replacement charges owed by Keene State College students will be transferred, on a monthly basis, to the Bursar’s office for collection. If a student returns a billed item after charges have been sent to the Bursar the Library will waive the replacement charge.

Additionally, patrons may purchase a replacement copy in lieu of paying the replacement fee subject to approval by the Collections, Strategies, and Services Librarian.
